a space with a story...

for the longest time we didn't know what to do with this nook at the end of our hallway. when we were building our house it just sort of happened. for three years its been a catch all for all sorts of things. finally, we determined it would make the perfect and much needed office space for tim. he made a bamboo/steel desk for the space. the filling cabinet we purchased at west elm awhile back and the vintage office chair was a thrift shop find my friend katie was gracious enough to share with me. it also occurred to me that this would be the perfect spot in my house to have fun with some wallpaper! it took me quite awhile to settle one but i finally choose this one by ferm living called tree bomb. it was perfect for several reasons. one, it went well with the surrounding grey walls and woodsy oak beam ceiling. and two, its gender neutral since our next use for this space will be a mini crib when the time comes. we don't plan to add an extra bedroom to the house for another two years at least, so we are forced to make do with the space we have. :)

Now you have me very inspired to get a wall done soon hopefully :)
Loving it all! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the wallpapers from Ferm Living.
