my biggest fashion faux pas...

...that i commit too often is wearing one of tim's huge hoodies out in public. could anything be more unattractive. ha! but sometimes i just want to be wrapped up in a cozy fleece. who doesn't? but i'll be putting an end to that offense when these moby dick book cover fleeces arrive at enid. they are unisex, so i ordered them in sizes XS thru L for the ladies who might want them a little more fitted.

busy = messy.

i'm one of those people who hops from one project to another before one is completed. this sort of work flow always creates a mess. enid's shop counter is also my desk and my work table and today its quite a disaster. the back shop wall however is not. i have to rearrange it from time to time as bits and pieces of the picture arrangement get sold. today i included one of my bamboo magnet boards in the mix.

fall/winter photoshoot

while i love the sweetness of flowers, i wanted to design something with a little more edge as well. thus i created frida.

in exchange for a pork chop and a twice baked potato, rach agreed to do some modeling for me. we got some great shots of my new necklaces and some of the fun apparel currently available at enid. see more pics from the shoot here.

last week oh joy posted a preview of lauren moffatt's collection for spring 2011 inspired by shapes and color palettes from the sixties. it was so fun to see a collins of texas bag used as a vintage styling prop!

skittles and feathers.

at enid we just got in some camera straps from souldier. i picked them out at their booth in chicago last month. this one is called skittles and its my favorite! also, i only have a few left of this feather slouchy tee and i don't think i will be reprinting.

new prints!

baggus' new prints and color palettes are perfection! i couldn't resist them for enid. i'm awaiting my shipment that should arrive any day. i'm stocking these 3 styles and more in 3 different sizes.

outfitted.

i popped into american eagle the other day to see if they had any dresses for a wedding i attended last weekend. tim picked out this one as a joke, but to me it was no joke. i loved it! and it was on sale for just $19.99. i paired it with one of my new long leather necklaces (pictured above) and it was perfect. when it gets cooler it will look cute with a simple tee underneath and some over the knee socks now available at enid!
