San Antonio Show.

for the first time ever my three friends and i are combining our talents and tastes into one fabulous vintage/handmade filled booth at the Garage of Goods upscale flea this weekend in San Antonio, TX. rach will be bringing vintage finds, lavender sachets, and leather bracelets. katie turpin has created an amazing collection of jewelry out of found objects and hand altered vintage finds that she will be bringing along with planters, vintage clothing, and more! katie volk has been busy at work on her hand-painted burlap pillows, colorful pennant banners, handmade framed prints, and even a set of gorgeous vintage chairs recovered in a clean natural linen. As for me, i'm bringing leftover enid goods at crazy low prices, vintage, and my handmade line of pillows and tees. hope to see you all there! email me if you have any questions about where to find us.

i just listed all these cool vintage finds at young gun vintage! i also just listed my southwestern stripe pillows here. i'm thinking i'll reprint them in some fall colors like pictured above. :) i've been slacking off when it comes to my personal design work and vintage scavenging! but i'm slowly getting back in the game i think.

just listed these two new pillows covers in the etsy shop here. 

burlap revived.

i found this piece of burlap or jute with a chenille embroidered rose on it at the thrift shop yesterday. i thought to myself "this would make lovely pillow!" so today i took a piece of striped vintage fabric and sewed it into a pillow. its very shabby chic which typically isn't my style but i do like it from time to time when its properly mixed with mid century modern or just plan modern. its listed at young gun vintage.

i love mixing and matching modern and vintage florals and prints. the cherry blossom pillow currently resides over at young gun vintage here. the large vintage floral pillow i made with some fabric i found at trade days for $2.50. the owl pillow is from my new pillow collection. the black and white pillow is by leah duncan and the wall decal is by shanna murray.

ah...could fred be any cooler. every month we have a very impressive flea market called trade days. i go every month and never leave empty handed. these two items i've added to young gun vintage. i also scored some vintage fabric that i will be using for the backs of pillows.
