i'm back.

what a weekend! we got in late last night and i was up early this morning to get the shop back in order after our sunday mad grab for things to replenish our renegade austin booth. the show was amazing! and i've decided to devote the next few hours to sharing all the excitement from the show. we sold about half of all the many succulents i prepared, so the rest are now for sale at enid! they start at just $10!

wall pockets and hanging vases.

1. owl wall pocket $18 2. polka dotted hanging planter $14.50 3. honeycomb hanging vase $46 4. hanging planter $15

a house full of plants and fresh flowers is instantly cool in my book. and i love a clever piece of vintage decor!

project home ~ the bathroom

1. vintage crock + succulent (enid) $35 2. towel set (target) $29.99 3. bath mat (west elm) $24 4. wall hook (anthropologie) $18 5. pelican print (push me pull you design) $40

the bathroom: considering i already own the wall hook and i have a gift certificate to west elm, this little make over shouldn't break the bank. i'll be placing a reorder for prints by push me pull you design for enid soon. so if you see one you like, let me know and i'll include it in my order!

filled to the brim.

my house is filled to the brim with my collection of refurbished frames, vintage planters + succulents, and leather necklaces. as far as i'm concerned, renegade austin needs to get here fast! it may come as a surprise to you that as much as i like to collect, i really like a sparse home. luckily i have enid and my etsy shop where i can share!

hello world.

i prefer a picture to words, so this introduction will be brief. this blog intends to inspire, never to tempt. its about being creative, resourceful, tenacious, and thrifty. enjoy!

the best part about owning a smart phone is the built-in camera. so often the best pictures aren't arranged, they just happen. i wasn't going to stop at the antique mall this weekend, but then i wondered- what was i missing? for under $10 i scored a russell wright creamer, a heath ceramics salsa bowl, and a floral pitcher from romania. so, captured posts will feature images that just happen that i capture with my phone.
