young gun loot.

i've come across some really good finds as of late and its time to share! The yellow chair is in almost perfect shape. It swivels 360 degrees with ease and the fabric is spot, tear, and odor free! The lamp is in excellent condition. It has a working three way bulb as well. have any questions? shoot me an email!

vintage patterns.

last weekend rach and i came across a box of vintage patterns at a garage sale for 25 cents a piece. one day i'll find time to try and sew one. i might have to enlist my friend katie to show me a thing or two about garment sewing.

today i salvaged two 22" down pillow forms, a yard of vintage fabric, and an antique ice chest. i bet this chest still keeps things quite cold.

Belly up to the bar cart.

my mother called this morning and said she saw an interesting yard sale on her way to work. i did a u-turn and took off to investigate. i came away with this smashing and ever so trendy vintage bar cart. i added it to my new furnishing page in my found section.

this estate sale buy makes me laugh. i'm working on getting my loft just the way i want it (what else is new) and this find might just be the piece to tie it all together. anyone know anything about arc lamps? what era?

a killer garage sale.

we are having another garage sale and this time with even more stuff. above is just a sampling. the sale will start at 7:30 in the morning at 648 Post Oak Rd. aka the jeep collins factory and offices. we will also be selling original never been worn civies tees for just one buck! :O

yard sale find: david weidman print and foot stool.

i'm still in disbelief that the same week i post about david weidman and his work, i find one of his signed serifgraph prints at a local garage sale for $2. i also found this perfect condition vintage foot stool which we've enjoyed using as an ottoman in the loft.
